Week 7 Report
Wow - who ordered a large helping of fall with perfect weather on the side? The weather forecast for yesterday was actually "Perfect". I don't think I could have asked for better than that. The day we hiked, CC actually stood in the middle of some aspens, held her arms out, twirled around and announced it was "Glorious."
I liked using the daily schedule instead of a weekly schedule. It felt nice to declare ourselves "done". The poetry memorization started out well. The copywork is continuing to get done. History is still loved. Art projects are abundant. Math is still in the sneaky guise of games. Science is nature study this time of year. The hiking this week was perfect, except for a little incident with a cactus. The apple orchard was great - we even got there early enough to pick fresh raspberries.
So I have to mark this week down as perfect.

Yep! I took the kids to Rocky Mtn. Nat'l. on Wednesday and have a slide show up on my blog. What a great place to live! Glad you enjoyed your week.
What gorgeous pictures! Don't you just love fall?! We went hiking this week too. It was great.
Gracious! What a gorgeous view! We should be getting those colors here in the Midwest in another week or so. Thanks for the preview.

I think fall is one of my favorite times of year.
