Here is CC's first sunflower painting using oil pastels. According to Grandma, it started to rain while they were painting so they had to hurry to finish. The painting had to be done outside since I am allergic to most flowers.
I think her use of color is great. She also filled the space beautifully. We'll do more sunflowers next week and read Camille and the Sunflowers again. Once we start to get tired of the Van Gogh sunflowers, we can explore other artist's interpretations.
