Funny how a phrase can haunt you. That one has been in my head since I was little. I heard it when I accomplished something. I don't remember the "good job" comments I am sure I received. I just remember "Is that the best you could do?" No matter how much harder I worked or how much better I did I still heard "Is that the best you can do?" It is still with me.
