Week 34 - The Plan

Week 33 is soon approaching. I am OFF work tomorrow. Let's all do a happy dance!
Tomorrow is the BIG PLAY put on by BB's Japanese class.
Monday, I am going to the district office to register CC for an "enrichment" program that is supposed to have art, Mandarin Chinese, science, music, robotics and a math club.
Tuesday is the last day of co-op, and the kids will be doing performances and showing off what they have done this term.
Wednesday is gymnastics.
Thursday, CC is going to a one-day space camp with a group of home schoolers.
Friday, I am back to work again.

CC is working on Story Stick. She was putting the final touches on the faces this morning. She is very excited to use the stick and listen to the stories that we create with it. She got the idea from our field trip to the natural history museum. I love how creative she is.

I am working on a plan for school next year. I am trying to integrate all of the things I want to do, but still keep to a simple schedule. My brilliant idea is to schedule 3 weeks "on" and 1 week "off". On the off week we will only do math and reading and catch up any assignments missed. That will leave us time to relax while still getting through a more rigorous schedule. I made the basic form that I want and have been going through the table of contents for several of the resources we will be using and plugging titles and pages in. I'll post the whole thing when I am done.
