Week 22 - The Plan

I am planning to be more productive this week. I am going to finish Hamlet with BB. It is my priority this week. Sometimes things just drag out longer than you expect, but we will finish this week.

Co-op starts for real this week. I am excited about the classes CC is taking - Guitar, Face Painting, Human Body, Spanish and Brownies. LB will also be in her first little classes (with me sitting nearby). It will be cute. The classes should really round out what we are doing at home.

This week we are going to do math, writing and reading daily. We will also do Latin, Roman Mythology, and Literature throughout the week. I want CC to start do more seat work. I think it really is time. We have been doing a great job of getting school done daily, now we just need to slowly increase the workload. I really want her to develop good study habits.

Here is the basic structure I am planning for the week - Monday - school then errands ( I need some things for co-op), Tuesday - math and writing then co-op, Wednesday - school then groceries, Thursday - school then fun trip, Friday - work for me. The daily structure for school is breakfast with read aloud, math, handwriting, break, lunch with memory work, and then another read aloud.

I did a stint as a high school English teacher, and I loved, loved, LOVED teaching Hamlet! Have a great time.
