In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago

Thanks for the video link. I will have my children watch it tomorrow! We watch watched Linus' rendition today.
You asked about my oldest's studies...she went through the NARHS high school course handbook and marked the ones that looked interesting. Then we picked a variety of courses that applied to "graduation requirements" and are working our way though. She is NOT academically-minded or driven in anyway. But we're both doing the best we can. One of these days I'll blog about it... The weeks just go by so fast! :)
